What surprises me is that the euro rose yesterday after Powell's announcement that he intends to raise the interest rate, more than twice as promised in the past.

Disliked{quote} I think you are talking about yourself; you seem to not understand probabilities; even if you took classes. my findings above are from empirical study on EURUSD. Here is my findings: ======================================================== Results of statistical study on daily movements of EURUSD and GBPUSD: Regardless of the current price in relation to the day open; the probability of the price moving in the same direction; or retracing; is 50% in other words; whether the market moved by 20 pips above the open; or 80 pips, or 100 pips;...Ignored

DislikedMkt had a nice run off the quarterly S1 level , Been picking levels off one at a time on the way back up . Would have liked to see it close above where it did to continue the strong move . Couple different projections to the Quarterly open ,,,,could be tough sledding in this area until it is cleared if /when it is , if it does clear it the projection is the daily 200 level based on the inverted pattern that would be valid with a good poke thru quarterly open ,,,,bottom side there was a level that didnt get tested from the top side on the way up...Ignored
Disliked{quote} The method I use is based on "Magnetic Lines" introduced by my good old friend KiwiOz.. His thread was this one: https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=480208 but after he went commercial that thread became obsolete. I am a good carrier of his knowledge though, so no worriesStay Green

Dislikedquick question fellow traders. I am having issues for some reason changing my 'solid' lines to 'dashed' lines. When I right click and go to ' properties', that section under style is locked for some reason. Any suggestions? {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey Digger, I really like this analysis and, coincidentally, it fits in with mine particularly in terms of picking off certain levels on the way up and where the price has stopped is an interesting point. I could see it dropping back to 1.1540 as a first stop. If it gets to that price, the reaction there determines for me whether we are long or short, for the longer term. Have a good weekend!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Go to the box all the way to the right of "Style" and change it to the thinnest line setting, the top one. This unlocks the middle box where all the dashed lines are and you can pick and choose from there. If you change to a thicker line in the box to the right it automatically locks that middle box onto a solid line and you can't get access to any of the dashed lines. So the dashed lines are always thin, can't make them thicker at least as far as I can tell. Hope this helps!Ignored

Disliked{quote} Probably not a bad spot to be in ,, 3 days of London opens at the same level ,, 1564 , stays above probably keep working up ,, it is above 4 hour 200 so a little support there ,, quarterly open still above so bearish from that point of view ,, below 1564 working down to fill current monthly candle in ,,, if your 123 system incorporates levels the mkt uses in and shows the winning side of buyers and sellers then it will work fine lol .{image}Ignored
