Honestly believe the Italy 'crisis' is way overblown. No need to exaggerate what is, really, an isolated and easily repairable situation. I don't believe the EUR selling was majority caused by this. Correlation can be a deadly mistake.
And let's remember that no nation wants a really high currency. Even the US. Sure there's plenty of room to rise, but with all the recent capital inflows and investment, it might need to take a breather sooner or later. The rate hikes will attract capital, but more on a long term basis. (I think anyway.)
