I did HIIT for the first time in almost 2 weeks yesterday and boy, I felt it! I've been out on the MTB a lot instead because the weather has been nice. Took the kids out for 6 miles on the bikes, all off road. I think it is so important for kids to do lots of sport. Can you believe it, there are kids in my younger one's class who can't even ride a bike! You see people in their 30's and 40's doing sport for the first time because they want to lose weight or get healthy and it just doesn't work. Bone density and muscle structure happens when you are young. Drinking lots of milk to prevent osteoporosis is the biggest joke of all. Where do cows get their calcium from? Preventing osteoporosis is having good bone strength and density and it comes from years of weight bearing exercises, most notably from when you're young.
