Guys, Oanda just got bought by CVC Capital Partners. Does this mean there will be any changes in terms and conditions? Does anyone know anything?

DislikedIs Oanda still a good broker to use in 2018 ? I'm actually considering using them because I use tradingview for chart analysis.Ignored
DislikedI've been trying to make a single buck for three years with Oanda. No go. Their system is designed in such a way that it keeps changing the spreads on their instruments on the fly depending on volatility. It's so childish you have no idea of the order book. Every trade is worse than a gamble even if you consider a gamble to be 50/50.Ignored
DislikedThat is true. You improve the odds in your favour ever so slightly by trading a real account. However there is still the overhanging question of, for example, spreads which are by no means fixed. They advertise their product as fixed spreads. It isn't and so is misleading. Spreads is just one issue. There are others - I needn't go into. Basically this is pure, unadulterated betting and you are trading blind with no recourse into any instrument insight whatsoever. There are so many blocks stacked against you that your performance is guaranteed to...Ignored
Disliked7 years, how come you still sound like a child? If you wish to delude yourself then by all means be my guest. The brokerage is good. They know how to hoover up customers using the most minimal effort required. I'd call this the entertainment business.Ignored
Disliked{quote} No good sir, it is you who sounds infantile here. Always blaming someone else for your own faults and failures. Grow up, may I suggest.Ignored
Disliked{quote} """grow up may i suggest""" yep you said it you allso say you are a profitable trader i doubt that , your attitude says it allIgnored
Disliked{quote} Nice thing Aussie you are now chasing me all over the entire FF. So much for your beloved Mr. TrumpIgnored
Disliked{quote} yep because lies and cheats allways come here like xy76 and truth all ways comes out after time , trumps ok but what you have to remember i am from Australia not america and i wish our idiot incharge turbull was like trump and people like you would just tell the truth but the markets would not like thatIgnored
Disliked{quote} OK, so any proof, evidence, whatever of when, how and where was I lying, according to you?Ignored
Disliked{quote} You are not lying but you are deluded. And if you refuse to listen to reason that might make you stupid too. This game is like being invited to an away game of football or basketball where the pitch is every so slightly slanted upwards at the home side. You may not see it but the odds are meticulously stacked against you. Its so silly, it defies belief. I honestly can't say who's more stupid, the brokers trying to take you for a fool or the customers themselves.Ignored
DislikedI spent three years carrying out fundamental research in developing a proof in principle in order to trade -- it shows that this game is folly and does not work. It is in the numbers coupled with the nature of the system, both of which don't lie. The only commendation is to the brokers themselves, for discovering such a simple and effective system which works over and over again at generating their revenue without fail. You OTOH have nothing to show apart from some hypothetical claim that you are profitable. I couldn't care less. For all we know...Ignored
