Disliked{quote} He seems to use Google translate from English to Russian to understand what was written. Suggestion he is making is: (am copying and pasting the content). In the image above, I have circled the biggest problem for us now in the downtrend. The trades which are furthest away from the current market price. These are causing the biggest problem because they are so many pips away from the market and most difficult to recover. These trades are the ones we must target. You may think that the latest martingale trades are the biggest problem because...Ignored
Disliked{quote} You might want to implement a basket TP or Equity TP and close all trades when profit target has been hit. Also, the hedging trades should have it's own multiplier as 3x the amount of the first trades could be too much. It might be enough to just hedge them or just do 2x. The hedge trades should have a trailing stop in place in case the markets turn back to the initial direction. BE could also work. In any case, hedging is the only way to prevent a martingale ea from crashing. Limiting the number of trades to one direction is also usually...Ignored
DislikedAwesome ideas, one ideas to add: 1) In the example we are buying, after 5 orders we take a position in the opposite direction for the hedge. Straight forward. But the 5 orders should be "x" allowing us to change it and when to start it. Example The 1st GRID is 7 orders, once the 8th order is activated we then take a SELL order which consumes "x" (in my example lets use 3). So we are now on the 8th order which is hedging the first 3 orders. This would be considered a freeze in the operation. Then Orders 4,5,6, and 7 look for the TP. This reduces...Ignored

Disliked{quote} @traderTero: you got the Point: hedging is the only way to prevent a Martingale ea from crashing. If I would be a coder I would start coding. There a may martinagle Systems around here in FF but no coder who is going implement the hedge. I don' t why. Probably it is too difficult....... renkoIgnored
Disliked{quote} Not sure why they don't want to do it or not try any new ideas but at least now I can see that there is more talk about hedging also on the other martingale threads. I have also several times asked them to allow adding trades to the winning side as this would act as hedging and would be easy to implement. Above I have posted the hedging sample: "for example if we have sell trades 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 and 0.5 and the hedge 1.5, " Let's presume that at the same time we would have been opening buy trades as follows: 0.1, 0.1, 0.1, 0.1, and 0.1...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I don't think it's a matter of difficulty. There are good enough coders around FF, that's for sure. It's whether or not the good coders think the effort is worth it. A "hedge" for a martingale is essentially another martingale built on top of the 1st martingale. There is no better way to describe this. Is it difficult to code this? No. Is it worth the while? Maybe. And like all martingales, it requires a large enough balance and also the right instruments to trade this with. I have described my thoughts on this in other martingale threads...Ignored
Disliked{quote} may be can you share your code. that can be start of improving on it.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I will consider sharing the source code, if there is enough interest. Most people here just want a free meal but have no intention to really contribute. I am looking for more collaborative work in terms of conceptualization and proving of hypotheses - we have enough good ideas to work with, we need more people to prove them! If it works, great! Let's make it into a viable system with positive expectancy. If it doesn't work, let's fail fast.Ignored
