Disliked{quote} Emm, quick question about MQL language. I was thinking about backtesting strategies in MT4 / MT5, as i saw you do it dozens of times. I assume you code your strategy into an EA and then you run it in the MT4 Strategy tester. Is that right? If so, what would you suggest to someone who want to learn mql with absolutely no knowledge in coding? Should I learn CC+ before?Ignored
I prefer custom built ones so I outsource mine to software developers under contract.
You can learn to do some basic coding and be able to maintain your own expert advisors, indicators and scripts.
But to write a complete expert advisor from scratch can be a big challenge when you do not have the experience how MT4 works especially when it comes to orders handling. Let an experienced mql4 developer for the work for you. There a few very good reliable developers here in FF.
Honesty is a very expensive gift. You wont find it in cheap people.WBuffett
