DislikedHi FxM, I'm using the latest FXM_Diff3 with the built in writer. Each basket has different settings, yet in many cases the writer locks in on the same offline chart. I've tried to unlock, reload and even restart MT4 yet I still get the same offline chart for different baskets. Would you please advise? Thanks. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Charts are named #FXM[day number]-[number of pairs]# so if you are running baskets with the same number of pairs on the same day FXM_Diff generates the same name. Try this setup, upon [Lck] the basket name is generated as an input field so you can append a sequence number of generate a totally different name. The writer only starts upon clicking [Ofl] {image}{image}{image} {file} {file}Ignored
DislikedHi FxMadness thanks again for an awesome strength indicator as I'm having great success with it thus far. I have a question that maybe you can help me out with? I've noticed that when the FXM indicator refreshes the whole MT4 platform freezes momentarily, and only once the refresh process is complete then platform unfreezes and goes back to normal. Is there something that can be done so that when the FXM indicator refreshes it doesn't freeze the MT4 platform? Thanks.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Very nice, thank you! Plz take a look at the lock at GMT time function. The writer does not seem to be working when it auto locks.Ignored
Disliked{quote} They are really quite heavy calculations. I'll see if i can limit it a bit.Ignored

Disliked{quote} auto-lock works fine now, tks. I've noticed that any appending to the first 7 chars does creates a new offline chart; however, TTM still thinks it's a duplicated basket and does not allow trade on the "clone" if there's already a trade open on either of them. So for now the workaround is to create a new name/number limited to 7chars. My suggestion is to have a random number generator for the writer offline chart names. I think that 4digits, 10k possible combinations should be enough [FXM-XXXX], this way it would simplify things and...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Try this set. Chart name is FXM[Day of week]-[number of pairs]-[indicator id number] TTM magic = 100 + dayofweek + numberofpairs + indicatoridnumber. {file} {file}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Writer is working as indicated and TTM is able to distinguish the baskets and trade them fine. Just the TTM magicnumber is trowing bad calculations: {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Nope, FXM ! Going to look like this and is more for traders that do not rely on EA's trading when they are asleep. {image}Ignored
