Disliked{quote} there is one other issue in a vps enviroment. at least for me. gmt time is set by computer terminal time which can be set to whatever. in my vps it seems to change randomly which drives me apeshit. i have not been able to fix this. made me think it be better to go by mt4 terminal time which is always correct, but have different offsets to gmt from broker to broker. but that were easy to input manually = the offset to gmt vs terminal time. is it just me having issue running this on vps ??? on my usa vps cns i do not have that issue, the computer...Ignored

Disliked{quote} I have a VPS in Paris and to alleviate any issues when it was setup originally I requested that the VPS local time be set to my local time here in OZ so that everything is easy, having done that I do not have any issues. Local time here = local time Paris VPS and GMT the same. If you do request that of your provider they will have to re-setup everything and you will need to reload your portable MT4's.Ignored

Disliked{quote} reinerh: That is an issue I was not aware of. The local time on your machine usually does not change (unless DST or the BST). So I wrote the EA to check the GMTshift once a week instead of every tick. Since your vps changes thee local time on the vps machine this will be an issue as the offset will not be looked at until the start of the week and that will mess up the hours you input into the EA. {quote} bae67: Man... I never thought that a broker would use "_" as a suffix! Unfortunately that would be a problem for you cause the EA uses...Ignored

Dislikedsorry, the below went on the wrong forum, it supposed to be aligned with my question a few pages back: Just a little more on the idea of creating an indicator/filter to find triggers on the "virtual trades " once the main CCFP/FXM indicator monthly chooses what it thinks will be the long term winners. If we think monthly here, Based on the first indicator choosing on a filtered system (eg bbqueeze/3 colour filter), then we should not need reversals in the mix at all (although we could filter both reversals and standard trade with a shorter term...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Jared: The next implimentation of the bbsqueeze/3candle filter will have the user setting a range of time where theEA will gradually build the basket. This is my Understanding of how forexpinbar setsup the gvc EA. The biggest difference here is that user will have the option to add many baskets (from what i know this is not done with the othe EA). So u may want to consider this when thinking about an analysis. Basically what u will have is the EA looking at x hour to x hour (each day maybe) and the main filters that tell the EA when open...Ignored
