DislikedI use EAs, indicators, and scripts.
Do not expect me to just hand you my systems. It's like giving someone a tool without the instructions. You need to understand the underlying system and especially understand why that system works. Failure to do so will result in even more money lost.
Look for every thread in the trading system forum that I have posted in. More likely than not, there is an EA there which I coded. Use it. Understand why the system works/doesn't work.
I am only 18 years old. I started dabbling with forex demo accounts when I was 14, I went live 9 months ago. I have since increased my small $200 investment many-fold, enough to pay for my first year of college and still have enough left over to grow to pay for my second year. A lot of that came from the very EAs which I have programmed for free here on this forum.
I've done the hard part already--putting those EAs together. It's your job to adapt it to work for you. If you refuse to do so, get out of forex. It's not for you.
If you really are that new to forex, go to www.babypips.com and read the ENTIRE SITE. I'm not kidding, learn as much as you can about forex. Understand why the market moves, what causes it to move, and most importantly, how to profit from that move.Ignored
DislikedHi ronald.
Im proud to read your success. Please help me. I need extra money to assist my parents for their medical bills and I love and owe so much to both of them as my salary is just enough. Been trading for long time but not much success. Read a lot, very hard working, I realise my issue is exit, entry normally quite ok but sometime Im scared because when I went in always preceed market action. Proven it was a good move scared because I always early entry and not single forecasters agree with me. I read about forecasters but most of the time, they were wrong. Please assist me to be brave and improve trading success.
Thanks and may you be bless alwaysIgnored
You have the bucks--your trading account.
You have some brains--your trading system.
You need some balls--the nerve to risk the money in the first place.
You must have absolute discipline when placing trades. It is definitely important knowing when to get it. But do you know when to get out? Try this exercise:
Use the trading simulator and enter trades based on a coin toss. Heads is long, Tails is short.
Manage those trades so that you exit those that are losers, and let run those are winners. Being able to determine quickly whether or not a trade is a loser or winner will save you plenty of headaches and time spent trying to find the perfect entry. Once you master this skill, you should be ready to start trading live. The first few weeks may be a little rough, and for this try to size your lots so that it takes 100 straight losses to make you broke. As your confidence increases, so should the amount you risk.
That's how I got started trading manually. I started learning the exits before the entries. After I learned to manage exits properly, I started learning to manage entries.
I suggest you follow a similar path. Try my coin-toss exercise. Determining whether or not an order is a winner or loser is the first thing you should learn about trading.
