DislikedThe stop on my last lot from 1.0090 is @ 1.01150, and that last dip went to 1.01151! I guess PA is trying to tell me something. If we get back to to 1.0135, I'm going to set a 20 pip trailing stop on this sucker and just get what I can get out of it. Still can't explain the A/U weakness today, but I guess it really doesn't matter. PA is what it is. Good trades to all.

We have been near the record highs for basically a month now. I think this sucker is going to break up. But we need to take out 1.0185/ 1.0200

DislikedYes. But why do commodities raise the AUD? The reason is people think that high commodity prices lead to a strong Australian economy (and it usually does). It is not so much the commodity prices as it is the belief in the Australian economy that leads to high AUD. Commodity prices is just a *reason* for the Australian economy to be strong.
If the Australian economy is taken out by other factors (such as high debt levels due to housing bubbles and housing prices starting to fall), independent of commodities, the AUD would likely still fall regardless...Ignored
