Disliked...The metric would go like this... From time-to-time save all the curve's points. And then 20 bars down the road, compare the corresponding points. Since the curve repaints then the corresponding points will be different -- but by how much? 2%? 40%?Ignored
Disliked{quote} I realize now that you are not yet registered for the telegram channel of my inner circle, otherwise you would find out that I'm working on a similar idea (for exactly 20 bars...). This can only be done in an EA, and I thought I might draw an extra line as the indicator. I do not know yet what can come out, one sees this one only if everything works.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Sometimes already... Only small findings: - The TMA repainting becomes apparent when the indicator is reseted, or when the time frame is changed back and forth (see "Symphonie Autorefresh" technic). I tried to do that, did not work right away, and postponed for later. - In an EA you no longer have the problem and every bar has "current, correct" values, so it is recommended not to take too long periods for the HalfLength. In order not to discuss further - here an EA where one calculates the values for bar-0 and bar-20. ONLY if the indicator...Ignored
DislikedHere is an example how the TMA Centered calculates the last HalfLength values: You can see that at the last bar identical values as the LWMA are (blue line), then different values are still calculated. {image} If you now refresh the indicator, it will adjust with the EA calculated values ... {image} We see that the sell signal in the second chart was not drawn by the indicator in the first chart. But, with the EA we would have had this signal! {image} Attention: the EA is just a dummy! {file} What I have shown here are big program technical ideas...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Thank you for your comments, you're right! On my trip in Tibet i have internalized the saying of Buddha: "The path is the goal".
