Good point Jason, Interactive broker and Citifx requires minimum of 10k deposit. FXCM client accounts with a balance of $10,000 or more had a profitability rate of 44.09% , which is better than IB and citifx.

Disliked{quote} Thanks for the response Jason. I literally just open a demo FXCM MT4 account about 10 minutes ago to play around with and to look at spreads throughout the different times of day/news events. Are the spreads on the demo account spot on with what a live account would see? ThanksIgnored

Disliked{quote} Yes, FXCM demo accounts show our real prices, so the spreads are identical to those available on live accounts. In fact, you can create a tick chart and choose to view a specific 4- or 5-minute period around a past news event like NFP to see exactly how wide the spreads got on our NDD price feed at the time in question. {image} Note that no demo can accurately represent the slippage (both positive and negative) that can occur especially during news events. However, our website provides information on how you can minimize...Ignored
DislikedVery frustrating start today. Could not place any trades on UK100 until 08:09 BST from the open at 08:00. Not because price was moving too fast, it was steady. Just nothing happening when TS2 Sell button clicked - no response indicating delay, just as if wasn't even connected. Other traders tell me same problem. Cost me quite a lot in missed profit.Ignored
DislikedHi Jason, A Chart question. Is there some way that I can display only the Open position arrows on the respective candles without the Labels and lines at the same time? If I have multiple positions open the Chart is very cluttered and the labels seem to be shown at inconvenient levels. Yes, I can move them around, but I would prefer to eliminate them if possible and show only the arrows. Thanks, AGIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi Digitalis, Trading on UK100 did not open until a few minutes after the official opening of the LSE this morning. That was due to very low liquidity coming out of the holiday weekend. Below is an excerpt from the Execution Risks page of our website in the section called Holiday/Weekend Execution: "The open or close times may be altered by the Trading Desk because it relies on prices being offered by liquidity providers to FXCM. Outside of these hours, most of the major world banks and financial centres...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Thanks for the info. It would probably help in these cases if the icon on mouse over remained as the red circle with white stripe. Having the "target sight" icon showing implied I would be able to trade, as far as I was concerned...Ignored

DislikedHi Jason, Do you think FXCM would ever implement a 'Trade Explorer' of their own built into TS ? Or atleast the ability to create a equity graph like MT4 based on the closed trades ? Take care DanIgnored

Disliked{quote} {quote} At the present time, in order to use Trade Explorer, an FXCM client must have an MT4 account. (Note that MT4 account holders with FXCM are able to use their login details to access Trading Station and place trades from that platform if they prefer.) However, we’re currently working with Forex Factory on an integration that will allow all our clients access to Trade Explorer including non-MT4 account holders. During this process, the trade history you see on Trade Explorer (if you are already linked to it using an MT4 account) will...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Jason, Im a little confused here. So MT4 account holders CAN use trade explorer (TE) but the data will be limited to just 1 month of trades ?Ignored
DislikedDo you know if this is the same for all brokers (the one month limitation) Take care DanIgnored
DislikedHi jason, Those plans to offer stocks under cfd form will that be in the near future or long term plan ? Why I am asking is because there is just no volatility or money to be made by only trading FX and the large cap indices. volatility is obviously yo be found in stocks ! By the way why not add the Russel index ?? So please try to give a time frame so I know if it is time to put my funds with a broker that offers stocks as well.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Dizzle, The execution and spread options (NDD and DD) available for basic accounts are identical to the premium account offerings. The different services available to each account type are outlined below. {image} click to enlargeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi Dan, That's correct, but this limitation is only temporary. We're working on an integration with Forex Factory that will allow all FXCM clients including non-MT4 users to link their accounts to Trade Explorer. After that integration is complete you will have access to your full history on Trade Explorer whether you trade with FXCM via MT4, Trading Station, Mirror Trader or NinjaTrader. {quote} At the end of every day our MT4 servers archive any data that's more than 30 days old. {quote} Probably not. FXCM has a unique...Ignored
