Disliked{quote} Amazingly done. Did something similar to yours but on 1 min. The chart below is really great to reinforce learning entries using extensions and predicting the next sinewave. I entered short at the extension of 256 CMA, where I predicted the sinewave would complete. It did. And look how after price started to go further to the downside, the 256 CMA changed direction to go through the middle of that pause zone. {image}Ignored
DislikedThis is my standby grid that divides the most recent high/low and extends the meaurements out by 4, divides the levels by 4 (or 8) based on octaves, then add the fibs with expansions by 4-8 etc. Really gives me perspective when Im not sure of direction, like this morning after the news was out on USD etc. Notice I have added the 256 -128 CMA....really a wonderful combination....just wanted to show another perspective...using some of the tools we have been working with of late... {image}Ignored

Disliked{quote} Some guys call this CMA behaviour "repainting".... with much contempt. We call that behaviour "recalibration" following Peter Haurlan methodology who was inspired by the way he used "recalibration " to send space probes towards Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn etc.Ignored
Disliked{quote} It's really interesting the way CMAs change their direction, as you say recalibrate, and do the same thing over and over again. You just has to look attentively and see a trade through after 1-2 hours and see what happens. I'm just beginning to "see" how things unfold using the 1min. Even on 1min charts you have to wait for a while until things are done to conclude something. It's been about a month since I started learning this method. Still a lot more to go. It's easy to get discouraged in this business but the key is consistency...Ignored
