Ground rules:
1. I am not doing this to teach anyone anything. That's why I am putting this in the journal section. This thread is here to prove a point (see below).
2. If anyone makes stupid comments I will block you.
3. I don't care about your political views, your religious views or the view outside your window.
4. I WILL NOT BE SHARING MY TRADING STYLE OR SYSTEM WITH ANYONE. Most would just screw it up anyway. Not being harsh just stating facts. Besides, I suck at teaching.
5. Do not contact me via PM to ask if I can share my system or to offer to "manage" my account.
What am I doing?
I want to prove to everyone that you can start small (which you always should do) and then build your account to bigger and better things. Even with the stupidly low margin limitations here in the US. Each week the account will start with a minimum of $100.00 USD. If the account is below 100 at the start of the week I will add enough to make it start at 100. If it is above 100 I won't add anything.
I also want to prove that this is possible with a reasonably small risk. Early in the process the risk will be 1-4% depending on market conditions and account size. As the account gets bigger the risk will get smaller. Higher risk with a very small account is almost unavoidable but that's ok. 4% is only 4 dollars risked on a 100 dollar account. That's less than most drinks at Starbucks. Also, early in the process, I will be trading the shorter time frames. As the account grows I will slowly move up to higher time frames ending up on the daily.
Updates to this thread will be sporadic. Mostly on weekends. I have attached a trade explorer for your viewing pleasure. The focus during the week will be trading and on the weekend I will try to analyze the previous weeks results.
For those who are claiming they do not have time to trade or that their job gets in the way... I say B.S.! It's just not a priority for you. You think you want to trade but you are not fully committed to the process. Here in the US (east coast) London starts around 3 am. That means you could trade for 3-5 hours before leaving for work.
