Quoting CrestwindDislikedChartist,
May I ask what that broker is? (I'm new so I dont know if this is against the forum rules to post what broker, if so I understand). Also have you used this hedging function, how did you fare using it??Ignored
Quoting smjonesDislikedHmm hedging
FXsol
IBFX
FXdd
to name a few. I am sure there are lots of others, just go look at various websites for each broker.
Bare in mind all brokers will have difficulties around high volatility times, like news days.. It is just how it is. A good trader can work around this kind of crap and still make money...

Quoting aparsaiDislikedScott,
Could you share some of those techniques with us? Or at least could you show us some links related to the techniques.
Thanks,

Quoting smjonesDislikedThe problem with hedging is ultimately if you are going to make income from it you have to let one side ride and that can produce some very severe draw down... Firebird is a good example of this... So is Hedge Hog. If you believe that the market will come back, you can trade like Bird Watching In Lion Country recommends. That requires a lot of faith and and pretty decent amount of capital... I personally do not hedge much. I have a hedge trade I use, but it is along side a trend trading method... Hedging is great in a ranging market and any trend trading method, even ema crosses are great in a trending market.
Why not combine both? Then you can get wipsawed to death in a ranging market with the trending method, but be covered with the hedge, such as Firebird or Hedge hog... and when the firebird or hedge hog is getting beat up in a trending market, the trend trading method is doing well...
These are methods that have already been discussed here. Also there is a dicussion of BWILC in the Book Review section.
