Quoting ktradeDislikedYeah, no worries though. EA's are fun for your mini's and demos but no-one trades EA's professionally. Going to bed with an EA running on a $50,000
account? Won't happen.Ignored

Quoting bonmeisterDislikedaha,
yes it may be a tad smoother (is smoother better though?) in places on the 1 hr, but I'm willing to give that up for the convenience of having everything I need on the half-hour chart. But, you now have double the points to define your price action on the 1/2 hr chart, so you tell me which is actually a more accurate depiction of real-time price action?Ignored
Quoting accreteDislikedOK now i'm up to post 325...hehe. Just my 2 pips worth on bonmeister's great post. I've been using what i call "4d" charts (time is known as the fourth demension) for a while now. The idea of using multiple time frame data ported over to a single chart. In our case here the 30m. I've also used this idea on 5m charts in a fast moving market such as London or NY opens.
You will have much more information on a given chart if set up as bon has suggested, with the added bonus of the possibility of more tags at S/R instead of maybe just a single tag/retrace as shown in a single hourly candle.
Good stuff.

Quoting divinefundDislikedPerhap too many suggestions with many indicators introudce can confuse or rather cluster the whole idea of Sidus method and Vegas method. I am still feel strongely that simple system give the best result.Ignored
Quoting renasdadDislikeddivine,
If you would be following closely with this thread, the mtf channel has been tossed around a little bit. There is one guy that trades with the channels and 5/12 rsi/50 cross. The channels do not confuse this method as much as some of the other indicators that are in this thread. The channels are pretty powwerful when combined with the tunnel. I decided to drop them for a while because they did make the chart messier. I did do a little bit of a change with my charts so, I decided to at least give the channels a second chance. I have made a couple trades with the Vegas tunnel and the channels and felt greatly confident when certain things lined up. I would suggest to you to read through the whole thread if you haven't already. Cause if you have, you would have known this indicator has (and is) been used with this method with great results.Ignored
Quoting bagovinoDislikedHi guys,
I have been out of town and just wanted to check in. I see lots of posts here introducing new systems.... I think we should keep those off this thread. We have a solid system here that is just about perfected.
Renasdad... How have you been? Quick question... On that Vegas Tunnel indicator you gave me, What is and how do you use the risk model? I'm not familiar with what it does or how to use it.
Thanks man!!!!

Quoting renasdadDislikedCould someone please explain why that is happening? This is the main reason I haven't been using the mtfchannel. I don't trust it.Ignored
