Hello All,
So after going through a process of assessing platforms late last year, I went with Tradestation (had used many years previously also) for my analytical/chart/feed platform, with execution through a number of Spreadbet accounts in the UK - with a view to add execution through Tradestation as another option mid this year - all good.
Then I hear that as of this weekend Tradestation has effectively jettisoned FX, I have lost several pairs through my platform and oil/gold/silver. All fx accounts have gone over to Oanda along with the feed. Does not give me confidence to stick with TS (i was a paid subscriber). So back at looking at alternatives.
At the moment looking at: Xenith,MT4,infront,cqg and multicharts.
I need the following: ability to have robust quote board allowing me to group currency pairs under each master currency, multi-time frames (inc 4hr), ability to display yesterdays OHLC prices on chart and preferably on the quote board and some sort of currency strength indicator, a platform which is stable and is windows based rather than web.
Happy to pay around £200 a month and also code where required. MT4 seems to fit but the quote board does not seem up to scratch.
The ideal solution would be Bloomberg but the cost at the moment is not for me (and the quite strict contract terms - I used to have one privately).
Anyone any recommendations ?
Much Appreciated.
