Quoting richx7DislikedHere is a modified version that adds MA widener to change the difference between MAs. It is set for GBP US 10 min charts and is doing very good. Trading should be between 5am-11am normally NY Time. The trailing stop needs work yet because twoblink has a better one that will stay in the trade longer - that will come later. It is a big improvement over my previous post.
I have included my new TS based on the linear weighted MA that works best in 10 or 15 min charts. It is showing 200-300 pips profit in GBP, CHF and EUR US. It uses the same stops, limits and timer as my other systems.Ignored
QuoteDislikedDo you run both of these off the 10 min GBP Charts at the same time in VT ? Also, are you saying only activate this to auto-trade during the 5am-11am timeframe and no other time OR is this built-in to the system OR is this just a general observation ?
Quoting richx7DislikedNo - only 1 system can be run for each pair. I am running one of each in 10 min charts now with good results. You can try 15min if you want but settings may need changing. You can run one in GBP and another in CHF to test them. The best time to trade is in the morning and any other time will probably result in a loss. I set the timer sometimes to 3am start and 11am end. The long periods MA makes it like trading 1hr charts. You can use these as guides to trade manually which is much safer. The profit display is accurate (unlike backtesting in MT4) with graphics showing trades, and profit is updated each bar. Results mentioned were from the profit display and reflect constant trading and no crash or disconnect.Ignored
Quoting richx7DislikedThe server is down now but when it is available the timer is set either on or off (default). Enter start time 0-23 hr and 0-60 min (if using 10min charts use 10 increments - 10,20,30,etc). 15min charts would be 15,30,45,0 min etc. End time is 0-24 hr and minutes use is the same as start. Timer is a 24 hour clock. Always set end time later than start since it is only a daily timer. Hope this helps.Ignored
QuoteDislikedI think I found the timer setting in your OC Cross but as far as I can see there's not one in the LWMA. Did you leave it off LWMA on purpose ? and how come the Enable Initial Stoploss and Enable Trailing Stoploss are set to "No" in both systems (LWMA/OC Cross) ?
Quoting richx7DislikedI didn't leave the timer off on purpose and will include one later along with other changes - this is a test version. Stops are set to NO by default so you can choose them only if you want. Results are better overall without them.Ignored
QuoteDislikedCan you please explain what does the triangulation of the MA does, because it seems to me thet it messes up with the entry signals sometimes. It gives them to late. It doesn't comply with the original entry criteria (open/close with the brake of a MAs).I was whatching 34 O,34C -triangular.
