DislikedThanks bauta, I will test 3 EURUSD + 3 USDCAD I mad a good results last week good luck gilfxIgnored
When selecting symbols, always look at its correlation here:
https://www.mataf.net/en/tools/01-01-correlation
try to use symbols that do not correlate on the one hour and on the daily. USDCAD and EURUSD are ok today.
Check correlation at least once a week, it may change.
Why correlation?
Let said you select AUDUSD and GBPJPY, they correlate 87% on hourly, high positive numbers and high negative numbers are the same, the difference is that they correlate in opposite direction.
In AUDUSD/GBPJPY they are been moving at the same direction.
Let said the EA opens 0.03 long in each one, when they move down the EA will average breakeven of both, AUDUSD and GBPJPY by 2, making both total of 0.09 long positions, if they continues to the second level, both will average opening 0.12 for a total of 0.21 long positions each.
Now, in the other hand, if you uses symbols that does not correlate, like EURUSD and NSDUSD, when you are long and accumulating in one, the other one will be playing ok or going short, the moves is not the same in each. That is the idea, to not get trap twice.
I think you understand the idea,
thanks, bauta
