Disliked{quote} But after correcting the time session in the EA,i still have problem to set the right time for London Open.because as i read before the time session is my computer time right? but its not. can Gvc ot HP explain about it please? regards fredIgnored
Disliked{quote} to Gvc, There is a bug in Session validation module that can cause this problem. look at my post that describe the bug and the way to correct it: http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...74#post8254374 to correct the bug, just replace the existing validation module with the following code: bool inSession() { s1start = StrToTime(sess1start); s1end = StrToTime(sess1end); s2start = StrToTime(sess2start); s2end = StrToTime(sess2end); s3start = StrToTime(sess3start); s3end = StrToTime(sess3end); if (StopProfit != 0 && profitbaskets...Ignored
Disliked{quote} if you did compiled the EA after the correction - then I don't know. let us have a look at your setup may be we can find something... you are aware of course that you should specify the session time in your local computer time! I think that in your case the London session starts one o'clock in the night...Ignored

So you add 24 to the end time and wait for a PERIOD_D1 barclose or (00:00 but that is tricky...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Additional uses the Shift GMT ...? to adjust the local time...?Ignored
Disliked{quote} No shift or GMT offset needed. Every trader should know at what time a session starts. I wake up at 8 in the morning to enter my trades because when my clock (and pc) says it is 9 o'clock LO opens. My brokers is one hour ahead on me so his clock is also one hour ahead but that doesn't change anything. So his session starts at 10 but that's still my 9 local. So why make it difficult.Ignored
Disliked{quote} This thread already has too many different db's and this is imho very confusing for most (new) people following the thread. I couldn't read even any rules on how to use or what signals are generated to follow. Imho this is also reason why people asking again and again same questions. It's nice to have such a db where easily you can set up some trades and manage them. Are there still some other "manual" traders and how do you look for set ups / entries? My test today to recover from a big DD. I just put in some trades and added until SL was...Ignored
