DislikedI think usd/jpy is coming to another important point... I see another trend line here... if it breaks up, then maybe up she goes... or we stay in the downwards triangle... for H & S to gold up... I'd say we have to break the trend line... if it does, I go long again... still looking for 113 - 114.40 which are my 62ema and 800 SMAIgnored
DislikedI've added to the Usd/Cad trade at 1.0126 and plan to again at the day's close and moreso again once we are into profit. I'm looking for this to possibly turn out as a longer term trade as the weekly charts are at resistacne as well and bouncing back now. With that, I will add at week's end and ride it out until we reach the lows that we previously had.Ignored
DislikedI will trade today's PB but excatly by the rules... not going to get burned jumping in early like I did on GBP c couple of weeks ago... I posted some charts of this in the PB thread...Ignored
DislikedI've just closed out the Euro position from 1.4768 at 1.4598 for a loss of 170 pips so that I could add to my Gbp/Jpy long which I added more into at 224.69. Depending on price action, I may be closing out a few more of the trades for an overall loss so as to add to the gaining trades. I've just closed out of the other as well from 1.4661 to 1.4595 for a loss of 66 pips.
Even though I closed out of the euro position, I am still thinking bullish on this pair until the longer tern trendline breaks if it would. If it doesn't, I plan to get into a trade again at a lower price.Ignored
DislikedEh, I'm an idiot....I am trading like a newcomer today and I'm not really sure as to why. On another note, we are at critical levels on both the Eur/Usd and Usd/Jpy. We are, more or less, on trendlines right now. I'm already out of the euro trade (more on that in a minute) and if the Usd/Jpy breaks out and does indeed move according to the head and shoulders pattern that has formed on it, I will close out of this trade as well. If and once the Usd/Jpy does fill out its movement based on the head and shoulders to the 113 area, I am going to start buuilding up short orders from there again. I don't think this pair can move much higher than 114 as a top- IF it even breaks this trendline. As said before, If and once it moves to 113, I will start to build up shorts and target our previous lows and perhaps even lower lows.
As for the Eur/Usd, I am still bullish on this pair but I am now waiting on price action to tell me to get back into a trade. I am not going to jump the gun like I did on exiting the trade. I exited early and I really don't know why. That's a beginners mistake and a costly one at that. I am currently looking for 1.4540 to be a low on this pair. If price gets to that, or any point close to that, I am going to place buy orders because the risk to reward will be incredible.Ignored
DislikedThe Usd/Jpy trade stopped out for a loss of 100 pips. The trades that I have currently open are making up for the losses that I incurred earlier. I DO plan on keeping the Usd/Cad longer term, although the negative swap puts me off a little. As for the Gbp/Jpy trades, they should be done by around midnight tonite. The Nzd/Usd trade is going fine at the moment and it looks like we've broken out of that terrible range now. Now I will add to the position on any dips in price to support areas.Ignored
DislikedAh OK as long as you're winning on something !!!!!! Makes me feel better then... !!!Ignored
DislikedPrice breaking above the trendline... if we come back down to retest the line and we start back up... I am going long for my targets at 113 and 114.40...Ignored
DislikedThere are just too many ways to draw that trendline... can't find exact point to connect to... can't trade like that... can't tell if we have already passed above the trend line and coming back down to retest it, or if we actually never got above it and now bouncing down...
Darn, now I don't have a trade idea for tonight ......Ignored
