I guess its a Term from the J16 thread, then it means
Pivotale Price Zone .. A level where price was Support and
acts now as Résistance , or vice versa ie where price Flips from
sup to Res or vice versa
hi, Can you tell me how to calculate ppz for indices? like nikkei?
Ignored
It doesn't matter whether you are looking to draw in PPZ's to your chart for forex, indices, stocks, whatever. A PPZ - Price Pivot Zone - is a point or zone where price has met resistance/support numerous times. The vehicle is irrelevant - they are formed by price alone.
It's a visual thing - so look back at your weekly indices chart and look for regions that have strong support and resistance - these will be your PPZ.
Look at the chart below - I have marked in blue weekly PPZ - points where price has met support and resistance repeatedly. In orange you can see a near-term PPZ.

If I zoom out, I can see that my blue PPZ go right back to 2010 -

Price will often react to these points. You will find heaps of information on the James16 thread about them.
Hope that helps!
Cheers!
