Hi All,
Earlier I was looking at uxColor (http://uxmarketflow.com/introductiontoux.php) and I thought it might be a different way to look at all the pair data at the same time.
Feeling interested, I created an app that shows the last x prices (currently last 1000 hours) as a representation of colour. Dark red represents the lowest price for that pair in the last x bars, dark green the highest price. The app simply scrolls along with time (newest data on the right). It's interesting playing back historic data to easily and clearly see when trends start to occur and finish.
The next step will be to split the pairs up into groups, so each pair base is grouped together, eg AUD, EUR, USD etc. I will post an update when I have completed that.
This app is not for download, it uses a few dlls that I have already developed to plug into Dukascopy/JForex and MySQL etc that make it difficult to split up for distribution. I don't use MT4 but I assume that it would be easy enough for somebody to reproduce this if they wanted.
Let me know if you have any question or comments.
