This morning I FTP'd my account to myfxbooks, had an upgrade to my powertradecopier increasing # of clients to manage. I manage multiple clients with same and different brokers. My MT4 platform and copier are on a functional VPS in Europe. I also have platforms on multiple computers on hand in North America.
I closed a trade, leaving open a vulnerable trade in the opposite direction. As price reversed, I attempted an entry order.
The order did not take and the notification was that my account was disabled.
I emailed support and described problem. As emails were being exchanged about support looking at problem, I again attempted entry orders.
The orders displayed being accepted, however, they time out. Sometimes the order lets me cancel, others it hangs when I select cancel and I have to restart MT4.
There are multiple servers available on multiple continents, however my account only connects with the European servers. This is true for the platforms on VPS in Europe and North American computers in front of me.
More emails have been exchanged with support stating that they and liquidity provider have no problems, and that it is my platform and account they are looking at to find problems.
The tradecopier accounts with other brokers are functional.
What problem could there be, or are they waiting for an account-blowing price reversal?
Thanks for insightful replies.
