For me there are more than couple,
which would always remain memorable for me for various reasons.
Often take multiple positions, in a small time gap, for a trade bias in a direction, so it would always be multiple trades for me.
But if have to choose one, would choose
EURCHF Longs in August 2011 (when peg rumours were galore)
- it was shortly before they enforced the 1.2 peg(dang i missed most of that MAIN move)
- Made 12583% on ~300$ acc (Profit of $37k+) increased equity by 125 times in 2 hours with 170 divided orders, one after another.
- It was more special as same account suffered a ~15k loss in the preceding retrace down from the initial pop of EURCHF from all time lows in early august
Posted details about that in a similar thread here --> http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...66#post4896466
What a lovely pair EURCHF was in those days.... ahhhh
P.S.
- In normal conventional trading type of mine, ofc there was no such event, ever
- Lately i took similarly big positions in USDJPY in its first spike down to 95(@95.20's(posted about those in another thread)), went to 99 generating huge %age of profits and now back to 100+ but not before taking another jab @ 95 and taking out my stops @ BE. I wanted to ride those for a long time. Anyway, they were not for me
