DislikedFwiw, on the 15m time frame, using the indi, I use settings of :
length of Big move bar = 2.5 times previous bar
Consecutive alternating bars of 10 (2.5 )
MM 18 pip SL, risk1% per trade based on SL(then adjust manually to smaller of spread over/ under recent high low or 18)

DislikedI know that most of you are saying "cut the BS... show me where to Buy/Sell" - but pls bare with me...
Besides the Buy/Sell zero crossing - note in the attached chart (same chart as before) how the indicator "honors" the Zero line (marked points on the indicator).
Also see that those points correspond to the chart close price (yellow connecting line).
Is this yellow line an interesting target price?
Is this a new support/resistance line?
Is this a new way of drawing/knowing the trend line?
Is this a breakout line?
Let me...Ignored
DislikedHere is (almost) everything combined.
.....
Looks like the system works...

DislikedGG53, I think that the yellow line - the line of balance of the prices or the comfortable price for elephants.
If "killing zone" will be higher/is lower than this line, we will return to it. Means is our purpose on profit.
I think, you use this indicator (http://www.incrediblecharts.com/indicators/twiggs_money_flow.php).Ignored
DislikedHello GG,
Thanks for introducing the concept of the Elephant as a new term for the the commonly used 'Big Boys' and probably more appropriate in the FX context!
Looking at your 3 trades, I am trying to understand the role of the Elephant indicator.
It appears to mainly serve as confirmation for Gadi_OBV trades, and to provide early warning of divergence.
Is that a correct assessment?
Thanks.
PS- Thanks also to Starola for the Twiggs MF. It very neatly converts the A/D to an Oscillator!Ignored
DislikedEaglePip,
The "Elephant detector" does a triple job for me:
3. Strong support line based on it - like no other in the market (see post #404)
The "Elephant detector" is our "In-Trend" trading system. Ignore it's signals when in "Killing Zone".
The effective combination of ALL of them together, in action, is on post #419.

DislikedDefinitely adds to confidence, however, would have taken this trade just on Gadi_OBv. Unfortunately, I have yet to master the MM!

DislikedActually excellent indicator. Thanks, GG53, thought long ago of it.Ignored
DislikedEaglePip,
Gadi_OBV and the "Killing Zone" breakout is valid by itself.
The "Killing Zone" concept was introduced here as a definition of when NOT to trade - no matter what trading system you are using.

DislikedI'm having trouble with the rules. I understand the killing zone is about a (any) period of consolidation. Thus I also understand the Asian range. I have 2 questions though:
1. Does the Asian range KZ also ends after 3 bull/bear candles?
2. If so, do I also extend the range after breakouts untill the end signal?Ignored
Dislikedpanamamike,
Number of bar to signal "End"?
How many "Correct" breakouts out of xx?
("Correct" breakouts are ones that can be protected by BE+spread+1).

DislikedThnx gg,
Is it safe to say we trade the first major breakout of the Asian KZ during the Europe session and after this only trade with the "Elephant detector" or a newly formed KZ.Ignored
DislikedNumber of bars to signal end is set to 6
I will get some stats as to the "success rate" as I go forward.Ignored
