Disliked{quote} Thats the spirit! This sideways movement is for the birds. I'm having a bit of an issue with Oanda right now... Take a look at the 2 pics below. One is from my deskop, One is from my mobile device. If I had gone from my mobile, I would have never taken the trade I did. Of course, being at my desktop, I did, and lost. it all has to do with the tail length. Computer: {image} Mobile: {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Sorry for the delay bro. I was.... talking .... with Tony...LOL To be honest Nate, they look identical to me. Did you actually measure them in pips to be sure there's a difference? They look just like mine in fact. The tails on mine are 4.3 pips on the first bar and 3.3 pips on the next. (Yours could be different because of our different feeds but are they different for you on the two devices) If so, by how much? Not that I have a clue how you trade but, if there is a difference on your two devices, how would those tiny tails affect your...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yeah, I saw your "discussion" with Tony... He is an interesting dude, that is for sure. To your last question, you are correct. My strategy partially involves small divergences in price. It baffles me how there could be any differences at in the look of the candle at all, since they are both Oanda feeds on the same account. They should be identical, right? But they are not. And since there was not divergence on the mobile account, I wouldn't have taken the trade. But since there was divergence on the desktop account, I took the...Ignored
Disliked{quote} LOL... He's a good egg and I know he means well in his rather ... shall we say .... unique way. Yes your feed should be identical on any device on the same account. But "sometimes" device displays can be visually deceiving. Not saying that's what we have here but they can be. The only way to be 100% sure is to calculate the close and low of the first, and the open and low of the second on both if you can. If they are actually different, I'd be on the horn to Oanda in a second! Although I don't know and I would find it... odd (unfair)...Ignored
Disliked{quote} the main is that servers locations....some servers time are set differently depending which one you are hitting which causes h4 and higher tf to differ in candles. it's better to go to your broker rep in ff and ask how or if it can be same on cell and desktop.... G.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Great advice G. Thank you And...nice to see you again (I know you've always been here...lol) but it's been a while since we talked or I visited your thread.Ignored

DislikedSo... Interesting day. Nothing on my trading front right now, but it my sons first day of 1st grade. I hope some day I can pass down all my trading knowledge to him. Heck, he's six and already knows when "it" goes up to buy and when "it" goes down to sell. lol. Actually, he may already have the winning formula!!! lol Don't make it to complicated. Anyways, this is one proud papa today!Ignored
Disliked{quote} Congrats!!! Yah, your son would probably give us some good advice like "keep it simple" and not too many crayons :-)Ignored
