Hi!
Les Lau, thanks for the advice, ill check out mt4 right away!
The reason why i trade higher timeframes is because i feel i get a better picture, and its easier to not overtrade. When i look at the smaller timeframes, its more like chaos in my eyes, and i have the ide that i will trade more in those timeframes. But this is just feelings of a noob!
I`ll try the smaller timeframes some more.
If you look at the pair, you see that its in a nice downward trend, with lower highs, the only problem is the bottom that can be a bit tricky. I think that many of my losses are due to tight stop-loss, it tend to work a bit at the tops before it goes backdown again. And that i "jump the gun" alot and dont stick to the plan.
Spreadbetter, Yes i know i should trade the majores, i dont remember exactly why i started trading GBP/CHF, but when i look at the different pairs now, thats the only one i feel that i can get a grip on, its like i know where its going in a way, i just cant make money out of it! Still trading demo oc.
Yes good traders should master all timeframes, but in my mind, i guess the smaller timeframes are more difficult, so perhapse it would make sence to practise them before i go on to a bigger frames?
My ide is to keep it as simple as possible, and to have few but solid rules to follow, allthough i find it difficult to follow them!
Best regards Lemags
