I watched Franz trade on a day when the markets were cruel indeed. He got slammed, managed it like a pro and worked out of it. It was impressive. He is, by far, the best trader I've ever seen trade--and, yes, I've had the opportunity to watch some pretty good traders trade.
One of the criticisms I agree with, comes from those who point out Franz is not trading the TIMES method per se (maybe not at all?). It appears the company is finally acknowledging the point, evidenced by their recent willingness to incorporate 'some' of Franz' methodology into a revamped product. Nevertheless, nothing short of his HP and bullseye sigs source code/methods would draw me in at those prices. And even with this value added, one would still need ample access to Franz in the trading room to learn how he scales in and out of positions, when and why he uses discretion to override sigs, etc.
For all of that, a healthy chunk of dough is not too much to ask.
