Quoting IsotonicDislikedFirst of all make sure you have the latest version of wine...on Ubuntu use the synaptic manager, search for wine and mark for reinstallation. Current version is 0.9.10 I think. Test at a command prompt the command "wine -h" to check.
Next get the mt4 package from your broker, once downloaded right click on it and run it from wine. There shouldn't be any problems. IBFX will create an icon on your deskop but you can also find it in the .wine/drive_c folder as well.
If you get start up problems then copy the following microsoft visual c dlls to the folder: mfc42.dll, msvcp70.dll and msvcr70.dll. Your versions of these might be different. I used samba to copy them across.
That should do the trick - you might have to download the mozilla activex control once running but that should be it!
If you haven't done so already, I would strongly recommend joining the ubuntu forum: http://ubuntuforums.org/index.php
The support there is very good and may have more answers fo you.Ignored
Also, I see couple dll's that I didn't copied. Will try Monday (it is on my office workstation).
UPDATED. Copied dll's - didn't help with changing properties in FF Tunnel Chart v2 indicator.
Are you using SB4 under WINE in your trading? Or You did installation just for fan.
Thank you.
