now, the main idea behind this procedure is to have a setup that most traders will agree is low risk and high probability (eg: trend line bounce).
then, we gang the market putting in our market orders (not limit order as limit orders will not move the market like how we want it).
these orders could spark a movement of about 10 or so pips, which would be enough for the herd to follow since it would be a logical setup, i.e trendline bounce, fibo retracement bounce, and especially support and resistance.
believe me, the market is easier to move if done in thin volume market hours.
so the idea in summary is to discuss a possible setup, prepare to gang trade it at a certain 'thin' hour, then send out an alert exactly when the trade will be taken.
think about the possiblities, the same effect as news tradesIgnored
DislikedI dont think it will work... not trying to be the guy who poops in the punchbowl but most of our orders do not even make it to the real market because we only control an insignificant amount of captialIgnored
DislikedAllow me to say that you are wrong,,, i think when some traders want to create a trade union, they want that union because they are in a wrong lousy trades or they want to go against the trend,, from her i say that you needs trillions and trillions of USDs to move the market against the trend...
now if you don't want to move against the trend you don't need a gang,, just you need to enter a trade on the best time,,,
And don't tell me that there are periods we had a lack of trend... no that's not right... every time we have a trend,, but the strength of the trend is the issue..
and an idea of gang will never success since we don't physically meet each other,, don't forget the psycology effects and many other effects,,,
Really i think the gang idea is not profitable and it doesn't make any sense...

ian: it's like this; Picture it if you will: Let's say a market mover wants to take prices higher. Prices have been falling and he sees they are now at the 50% retracement. The market mover will wait to see if Fib buying comes into the market. If it does, he will begin to buy as well to take prices higher. He gets help from the action of the Fib traders.
This was my original idea, so maybe there is still some hope after all. Let me hear what u guys thinkIgnored
