Disliked{quote} On the 0 spread account gbpusd spread is not bad. HF is a Market maker. Don't know if they send outside of their book the net exposureIgnored
Disliked{quote} Naaaaah, HF is too big broker to be pure market maker. I'm almost sure they work with prime trading institutes as there are two fellows who trade with HF with over 200K deposit, doubt they would to take risk to book such positions.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Being a market maker is not necessarily a fault. Oanda and IG Markets are big too but are well known to be Market Makers. HF is for sure a Market maker, and this is clearly showed by the fact that on all his accounts stop levels are not at 0. But again, i am their customer, atm i consider them an honest MM. Probably they hedge internally customers positions and send outsied to LP the net exposureIgnored

Disliked{quote} What u mean with this link? If you want to be able to discern a market maker from an ecn just google and u will find all elements to evaluate. Most brokers are hybrid, which at the very beginning put new customers to B/Book: then some (the few which shows able to be consistently profitable) are switched to A/book, with the possibility of a 3rd way which is called C/book. But again, to be a market maker is not a fault and is not unlegalIgnored
Disliked{quote} No I meant about Stop out levels, you said its zero but in the description of their premium account it is 20%.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Stop out levels and stop levels are 2 different things. Stop level is the distance from the current price u can set a stop loss. If the stop level is 0 it means that u can put the stop loss at 0 distance + current spread from the price If the broker do not allow u to put stop loss at the distance u want but requires some distance from the current price, this is the 1st elemnt which shows he is a market maker. There are many other elemnts which allows u to understand if u are dealing with a mm or an ecn/stp But again, to be a market maker...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Oh yes sorry just got ya wrong. But isn't it better for scalping EA's which need very tight SLs?Ignored
DislikedThis is really bad Brokers for scalping. If you are looking for good ECN brokers, just stay away the broker. I have just tried, and facing problem right away. They deny any my trailing orders. I cannot even get break even, the worst broker ever.Ignored

DislikedFor fast scalping HF is not good. The problem is not slippage, but continue off quotes and even more, once u have earned some money, a completely different behaviour of the data feed. If ur scalping is not so fast like mine probably Hf can be still acceptable. I suggest u to watch carefully the trades once u have reached some good gain, comparing the same strategy how act on other brokers, and u will probably see, on fast scalping, something u will not likeIgnored
Disliked{quote} Diversification is the best we can do. Make moderate gains with several brokers and keep low profile - the safest strategy to work with retail brokers.Ignored
Disliked{quote} This are the basics and of course is what i am doing and i try new brokers every month. But is also important to understand how work your broker to see if u can profitabke with him. If u cannot be, switch to another, fortunately there are many of themIgnored
