Still early days, but it may be that some pairs like USDJPY can be turned around using the minimum candle size setting.
Also, looking at the chart USDJPY was very choppy, whereas EURUSD for the same period looked pretty smooth and trendy. So it maybe that EURUSD is currently "lucking out" and is profitable with any minimum candle size, but when times are choppy it may well do better with a minimum size also just like USDJPY did.
Of course, one day's results do not a summer make, so we will have to see with more testing.
Cheers

DislikedI started tracking an account with aurora attached to it this week. I have it trading between the hours of 3AM and 1PM EST.

I changed the pwr trend direction setting to false, which i believe is set to true ootb. The trend direction filter was not something that was part of the original system, so I wanted trades a little closer to it.
I did however leave the round numbers filter on.
I am wondering why the winners all appear to be smaller amounts than the losers. I have the...Ignored
DislikedI thought TP was supposed to include spread, so SL and TP were exactly the same. I am on Oanda, so should have small spreads on eu, like 1.5 pips.
Follow the link and look at the history to see exactly how much smaller.Ignored
DislikedWell, just look at the pips versus lots on the losers compared to the winners. So, if Aurora does correct calculations, that means on the losers, the trigger candle was smaller than the others, thus, bigger lots for smaller pips...
I see you also run 24 hours...which broker?Ignored
//Round number filter. Open price and tp must both be below next high round number if (type == OP_BUY) { if (price < RoundNumberHigh && take > RoundNumberHigh) { PendingBuy = false; DeletePendingPriceLines(); return(false); }//if (price < RoundNumberHigh && take > RoundNumberHigh)
DislikedThat doesn't make sense.....Winning and losing should be the same percent, no matter the size of the trigger candle, lots, etc.
And my broker is Oanda....I guess I should have mentioned that in the post you quoted......I also do not run 24 hours, as mentioned before, I run 3 am to 1 pm EST.Ignored
DislikedThe breakeven feature prevented a loss this morning, Steve. With TPpercent of SL at 175, would you adjust the BE setting?
Loving this bot. Thanks for the persistence.
