DislikedDude, are you aware of the very low liquidity on that stock? It trades 20k shares a day on average, your order alone could move it. Too dangerous for me.Ignored

My plan was to buy in 1000er packes- but I´m shure in over 80% that the uptrend will be supported with 20.000 shares too.
They would absorb it. I think only an opinion from an non stocktrader. try to start with understanding.

Noob question. I heard someone a while ago mention that stocks need to have ''sufficient liquidity'' before you trade them but I can't remember where. Is this true? Could you please explain further?

DislikedSufficient liquidity only means there needs to be enough turnover/shares trading to absorb your activity. Enough buyers/sellers available to get you out of the stock. If a stock is thinly traded, you may also have to pay a higher bid/ask (which is a real cost of trading) or see slippage when your order comes in.
For instance if you own 1,000 shares of a stock and it averages 20,000/day your trade could account for more than 5% of total volume (because after all, we're talking averages... it might trade 10k one day and 30k the next)... you don't...Ignored
