DislikedHi
How do you choose your midlines
middle of what?
A channel or something else?Ignored
Yes, it's about like a channel.
The third picture's is in the middle of momentum pattern B and also in the middle of A and C as shown. I kind of like it that there's lots of tinier midlines in each of the momo patterns, encouraging me to use a larger midline for so big a turn.
The first picture is a little more problematic, as it has a lot of smaller momentum happening around the main and the drawn smaller midlines. Still, the smaller momentums lined up to support drawing A's where I did; I suppose you could call A's 'midline' more a trendline.
The box of pattern B is a small pattern to project a midline, but this chart area has so few midlines, the pattern seemed significant enough.
Momo pattern C's line was simply a copy off the other two.
That's kind of the language I use to pick midlines.
A midline, verbatim, is simply a line drawn from the top of a trend to the bottom of a trend, with the line highlighted (in MT4) for a center dot, such that the trend has extra activity at that dot.
Lots of variety, once you build off this definition: Extend a perpendicular line from the center dot so that one instead finds extra activity in another trend or in a pivot etc., and other things.
The language of your posts' charts is kinda catchy, though. (I've been through lots of word groups to describe a certain chart use.)
Best of trading to you, and thanks for asking.
