Disliked...It happens about 85% of the time, that currencies or commodities fall down in three big separate falls. Tops somewhat the same, but not quite as reliable.
Just my observation, it has provided a nice income.Ignored
DislikedIn the Master the Market book from Tom Williams a breakout upward is called an "Effort to Rise" and it is written that if the next bar is down on high volume, then the effort failed and we should look for a short.
Is there a better way to analyse what happens after an effort to rise? It's not clear what to do. Sometime they say that if the next bar close is at the same level as the effort bar close then the effort was successful. Or they also say that if the next bar makes a higher high it is also a confirmation, even if it closes below the...Ignored
DislikedWhere do we put the trigger line(s) when there is a very high volume down bar closing near the low and followed by an other downbar with a bit lower volume. On the close of the first bar or the close of the second one?Ignored
DislikedTypically it is the most recent, highest volume bar looking left... I also will consider highest volume level within current PA zone. I mean, does the high volume happen because SM is bullish and they buy when the price is low or something else happens?Ignored
DislikedA healthy downmove will have increase volume, but not excessive. i think it depends on how high the volume is, also take note the spread of the bars. if the bottom bar is a squat on a trigger/SR level, thats probably potential buying.Ignored
DislikedPres, could you pls write what broker you use? I've been trying to find the best MT4 broker for VSA and I like the volume of your broker. It shows the high volume bars much better than my IBFX Australia....
Thanks a lot
