The reasons that I have enjoyed reading this thread over the past few weeks are
- that I learned things that I didn't know before about an area of trading that interests me
- that there was real time discussion of trades that had either just completed or were in progress
- that cynicism and non constructive contributions were actively discouraged
- that those that contibuted, made their contributions with humility in order to learn more and be guided
- that the thread was kept clean of other ideas (which kept my head clear)
- that the originator of the thread moderated it with care and with attention to detail
I didn't contribute because I haven't yet learned to post charts...
That time and effort was put into it is indisputable and for this I want to thank Eclayf. I also know that that level of time and effort is way beyond my capabilities and so Eclayf also has my admiration.
What saddens me hugely are those people who feel that they must police situations for what they perceive as the 'good of others'. These others who must be 'protected'.
How has this zealousness and self righteousness served me and the others who were benefitting from the learning environment created here?
It hasn't so far as I can see.
