Hello,
I have been researching the Forex market for about 6 months to a year now. During this period I was learning basics, and I was trading on a demo account with FXDD.com.
Over the past 2 months I have employed an expert adviser that has had a lot of success and on my demo account has made 5 to 6 thousand dollars a month. Now I am going to finish testing my third month, and then if it continues this success I am going to go with a real account.
The problem I am having is while being on forums, I have encountered many facts and rumors that trading in a Demo account is nothing like trading in a real account. Is there any truth to this?
Also, I have heard many stories about brokers that would con investors, by purposely investing against them making them lose money. Is this only in rare occasions, or is this how most brokers do it?
Thanks For All The Help,
Nick
