DislikedI would definitely forget option number 3. I don't know, I just like my R:R's to be as high as possible. And you can't be sure that your win-loss will go up by doing option 3.
well, to option number 2. Getting in before the break is quite tricky I think. At least I also have the same problems as you, too many fake-outs.
But, I do like your option number 1. Yes, you won't always get the pullback, even on such low tfs, but there will still be enough opportunities. Depending on where you put your stoploss, if it's just above the pin for example,...Ignored
Option 1 is still my favorite. However fixing the sl even though its tight i still have to account for spread so i tend to widen it a little.
Here is a trade i took about 1 hour ago...
It isnt a pin but it is still a one bar pullback. And since being close to the RN i put stop behind it.
closed out for 2,3%
So far doing this im up over 5% today although i had a rough start to the week lol.
The thing is that im also "feeling" the momentum upon the break of the range. Its still early but so far so good.
in essence it is pretty much brakout trading with the trend. Focusing on the small timeframes that is all.
What do you think Custos?
