I've been out of Forex for a while (took a beating with an online advisor, lets not go there...) but am looking to get back in.
I've been trying to catch up with the NFA regs - basically it sounds like EA's are out the window? Or just heding positions?
In any event, what I'm looking for is:
- Good reliable MT4 broker
- Allows EAs
- Good spreads
- No reputation of stop hunting
- No commissions (or low fixed commissions with very low spreads)
(my preference is always to have $0 commission and see the true cost in the spread)
- Good customer support if there is a problem
- Looking to open with $2k deposit trading minis. Last account was $50k, will likely deposit more to get to that level once I see steady and reliable brokerage activity...
IBFX: I've experienced huge stop hunting and huge spread gaps at the news, taking out stops 30 pips away ...
... if IBFX has changed, I'd love to hear. If not ...
I've been reading through 20-30 different threads and picks seem to be all over the place. I'm not necessarily focused on US based, as long as offshore is reputable.
THANKS !!!
