EG didn't trigger, and I would cancel it but it printed a nice IB giving me the same entry price. I'm going to leave it and see what happens. Still same target and SL. It didn't break north so it is still valid.Ignored
DislikedClarkson, do you mind directing me to entry rules etc for the IB according to J16? I see a number of folk mention it but haven't heard anything as yet in any of James videos or found in thread!
Other methods use the break of the bar it is inside of, but would like to know how you guys use it!
Thanks!

DislikedIB... I usually take them at break of the smaller bar, J16 usually does it at break of the larger bar. There is alot of talk about it in the J16 thread, you probably just haven't gotten to it. The idea is the smaller the IB, the harder it should break, altho I've seen the big ones go well too. Let me know if you need anything else!Ignored
DislikedThanks for reply...
have seen the IB mentioned a lot but don't recall specific techniques using it. I'll have to keep reading. So much in there you can never find what you're looking for! An index would be super! Can see reasons to go both ways, guess it depends on position, confluence etc.
Cheers!Ignored
DislikedHey Cherry,
I only take inside bars on a swing. Swing low means buy, swing high means sell. You are correct that position (location) and confluence is important.
I believe their is somewhat of an index in there, I think I have it bookmarked...

We all know that protecting our capital is key. We also know that limiting your losses is a very important part of this idea. For the past 3 months I have been letting my trades run to their TP of SL, partially in an exercise to learn discipline and part to see that this method can be profitable. My .82% per month loss, while hardly profitable, I believe shows a small improvement could yield big results. (Especially given my bit of overtrading in January and trading CT)
I am going to start moving my stop losses as positions...Ignored
DislikedHi Clarkson,
you have done great progress. I am watching your journal and it give me a lot of fuel for improvements. At the moment I have started my journal at Slovak pages (with mother language is mach more faster to me to manage it) and with beginning of April I am going to run a demo account for three month to see what I have learned. I hope you wouldn't mind if I use your Trading Cheat Sheet as a template for my translation of rules I will have to keep.
Wish you few trades with...Ignored
