From the latest G7 meeting I remember this comments from ECB president on carry trades: This trades are not appropriate
Today I found the following interesting news on bloomberg:
Hidenao Nakagawa, secretary-general of the ruling Liberal Democratic Party, told reporters on Feb. 16 that the central bank should make an ``appropriate decision.''
USD/YEN rally is over?
with a 18% drop in EU exports to Japan, are there possibility of ECB to sell the Euro vs yen?
will BOJ send a strong message to carry traders to exit their trades at this stage? before starting a cycle of rate increases.
and finally may we consider the Yen carry trades a (Game Over)?
