Dislikedin order to confirm this as being distribution look for an upthrust style move to test 1.5520 ....
I see this as sideways accumualtion for now as 4hr tl is still up and daily is cloaing in top portion of candle.
Daily range was completed at start London , so we just have to wait for next session.
In the mean time enjoy the range 1.4420 to 1.4480 ( been trading off a 5 min using vsa)Ignored
Dislikedthanks malcolm this kind of feedback is really helpful
it's hard to see acc vs dist sometimes. i will look for tests of extreme highs/lows and i'll keep the H4 trendlines in mind.
signals on the M5 right now are not clear to me- highest vol is on the UP bars, and there are 2 hammers also on high vol, but price is going down .. i really want to understand this more...

DislikedI'm not trading for the last few weeks, and I won't for some more (time constrains due to changes at work), but I keep following the thread every time I can...
And about this M30 chart, I'm curious if in other chart packages (specially esignal) this area has also higher volume, because in my ibfx chart it is the lowest of the last 3 days, and without high volume spikes... Mal, can you check it?

DislikedI know we may take out 1.3420 in tokyo but this big of a move on this low of volume makes me wonder. This is EUR futures chart. Seen a lot of posts mentioning 1.3440, id like to see price action there.Ignored

Dislikedhas anyone ever seen an indicator (for MT4) based on Tim Ord's articles/books ? he calls it 'Ord Volume' it measures the volume of the entire legs of upswings & downswings. in his view it is crucial for determining whether price will bounce off or bust thru an S/R level.
if it doesn't exist, is anyone interested in coding it? since a swing indi already exists, it would just involve adding up the volume of each swing and displaying it somewhere on the chart.
cheers
