Here's my current conundrum:
1) I Have a set of code that places pending limit orders based on certain PA characteristics being met.
2) The trade execution works flawlessly, but once it does so, it locks up the code and is basically like a condom, it only works once.
3) If I wanted to reset the code to check again every hour, how would I go about doing so?
I have tried doing it based on the idea of checking for "open" positions, but that doesn't seem to work. That's going to be even more fun considering trade management concerns later on down the road.
Ideally I'd like to be able to have it check for viable trades every new bar (1hour). I've got a range trading EA that uses time checking, but I'm not entirely sure how I could get that to work 1hr at a time instead of over the course of several?
