DislikedThat would be nice................. things have not worked out on this today. The EA seems to have been spooked and traded the exact opposite of what would have been good.Ignored
DislikedThank you shiva,
Yes, it's sometime happened to me too. But with Steve scripts i just run the script several time till the orders is placed.
And the idea to put Maximum deviation could be great, ok let the master of scripts do it for us. OK, Steve i think it's your part now...
Thanks

I love the RS_Group indicator. Great work. I know its impertinent to ask but maybe it is possible to code this indicator for other currencies and maybe timframes too.

DislikedFinally wiped my account out, I am wondering if my settings are causing this as other testers seem to be getting good results.
Would anyone else using the MTF EA please post their settings so that I may compare please.
Many thanks

DislikedHi KG
Just some thoughts about the JPY basket
My first contract with the indicator was a flop manily because the GJ buy
made lot of pip loss and the basket got messed due to that.
My second contract was 100 % profit with maximum drawdown up to the margin amount.
Looking into the JPY basket can we make two groups of JPY
Group One G,E,U/J
Group two AU,NZ,CHF and CAD/JPY
This is based on country wise other ecnomic factors
What is your thoughts on thisIgnored
DislikedAttached are the scripts. All I have done is set a maximum slippage (some call it this, others a maximum deviation from the market price) of 10. I have done this in preference to making it a user-choice for simplicity.
6 scripts attached. Non_IBFX have all 7 pairs. IBFX accounts only allow 6 - no CADJPY; there are Standard and Mini versions, so download the two that you need.
Also attached is the latest version of the ea which has the basket jumping stop feature; you only need this if you have not downloaded from my thread since Wednesday. Follow...Ignored
DislikedThe first Group are JPY, USD, CHF & CAD and the second group are GBP, EUR, NZD & AUD.
HI KG
I got your point with the above grouping can you consider JPY basket with the above group as next project. CHF and CAD has good infuence on US.
CHF as leading gold producer and CAD as oil producer
Hi KG, commodites has greater influence on currency. Think about oil and gold when we go the advanced levelIgnored

Trading only JYP pairs (all 7 on Alpari account).
Multi Purpose trade manager setup as required.
My rule would then be:
If Chart 1 shows STRONG and Chart 2 confirms this as JPY box is mainly GREEN then execute KG_JPY_Basket_SHORT_Not_IBFX.mq4
OR
If Chart 1 shows WEAK and Chart 2 confirms this as JPY box is mainly RED then then execute KG_JPY_Basket_LONG_Not_IBFX.mq4
Keeping an eye on the trade and if required closing profits before Multi Purpose trade manager if a swing looks to be in play, or if it feels the right thing to do.
Can you confirm I have each part in the right place.

DislikedSmall correction: When the Chart 1 with RS_GROUP_JPY V1.0.ex4 on it says Strong it is saying Yen is strong therefore you short all jpy crosses. And vice versa when it says WeakIgnored
DislikedShiva You said the exact same thing Eddie said.
I think when the indi states Strong go Long
when inde says weak go short
That is what I did yesterday and made almost 700 pips
I hope I got it right if not I accidently did a reversal with sucess
OH NO!Ignored
