Just had a look on that.
It shows the Comparative Price Levels between the OECD countries.
When I have seen right the Swiss can buy a consumer basket worth 100 CHF in Switzerland for 61 CHF in Germany.
With an actual EUR/CHF at 1.2 that means you have to pay for the basket in Germany 50.83 EUR
So the PPP (Purchasing power parity) would be EUR/CHF at 1.9673 (100/50.83)
I don't know why we see in the press figures for ppp at 1.35 - 1.40.
Where are these figures coming from?
Is anything wrong in my calculation!!!
