Hi Barry, how and when do you increase the lot size? You do it with every new order/limit order you add or it is based on which TMBA band you are putting the order on?
Thanks.
Thanks.

DislikedDivide your equity in cents by 2000, that would give you your lots. Say $120 = 12000 cents divide by 2000 = 0.06 micro lots. Every 2000 increase by 0.01 lots. This is approximate because you are always in the market so balances etc change continuously.Ignored
Disliked{quote} No i meant i see that every order on the same pair/chart has a different lot size. For example on the chart of your first post the orders are: 0.08, 0.10, 0.11, 0.13. How do you decide those increasing in size for each order?Ignored
DislikedShame thread goes to commercial.... Again, thanks for the system Barry I do not have experience with XM,but seems a lot negative reviews ...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm up now 74.7% for January. Will post Friday the month result. I want to start a copy trading service soon.Ignored
Disliked{quote} You must realize that this system sometimes move very fast, and lot sizes (as explained) can change from day to day. I went to 1.3 in anticipation of market growth, but I trade (because of experience) with a 1500:1 ratio. So today 0.05, two days later 0.07, 3 days later 0.09, a week later still 0.09 etc etc etc.Ignored
Disliked{quote} So you edit your lot size not only based on account size but also based on volatility of the currency. Fair enough. Cheers.Ignored
Disliked{quote} No. I can use volatility out of experience, but you must use mechanical 2000:1 formula as your account dictates. I delete all pending orders, change the lot size under "options" and then restart and place the pending orders again with the new lot size. It becomes a bore but you will see how it works as you you gain experience.Ignored

Disliked{quote} No worries mate, i was just curious how you decide to manage your lots and risks. I know right how markets can smash you down very easily on a regular basis cause of overconfidence and poor control of emotions. Did you ever think about making an EA for this system as it's very mechanical and requires not much discretionary trading?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Absolutely. I just had an Aussie guy who done me in, but if there is an honest coder who will work with me, there's a LOT of money to be made. I have to find that one special coder though. He'll never look back. Maybe there's someone in Italy? You sound more Brit than Italian! Find me a coder, you can have the EA for free.Ignored
Disliked{quote} It shouldn't be too hard to code with the rule you posted. If no pro coder comes ahead to volunteer and make the EA i could make it myself during free time. Coding it's not my main job but i can manage it. Is there any more rules i should be aware besides the ones you already posted?Ignored
Disliked{quote} Do we work together honestly here? It is difficult to trust anybody.Ignored
Disliked{file}{file} Barry, quick question, what was the maximum open orders during your time with this system, just wondering? Also one can find these indicators handy for better visualizations, but probably most have those...History plotter and sl/tp values...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have had 70 plus orders open. In my cavalier days, but not uncommon to have 40 or so plus.....? no STOP LOSS! You handle your SL yourself if it is necessary. Trade small and survive with good profit.Ignored
