If you need money, I'll personally call Hank Paulson and have him write you a check.
He'll do that, you know. He does stuff like that all the time. Just ask, it's no big deal.

DislikedA very thorough and complete EW analysis of EJ.
It's important to sometimes step back and look at the big picture.
This is the REALLY big picture (1972 until present).
One has to wonder though, since the 1979-80 peaks, as well as the 1990 and 1998 peaks
are of course based on synthetic prices, how close are the fib retracement figures ?
Unlike a 1HR chart from the past month where you know the high and low is correct
because you watched those prices trade, the synthetic is kinda "iffy".
The post-German Unification/ERM era in the 1990's was an extremely fluid time in the currency markets.
Either way, the traffic is flowing down from 1980 to 2000 no matter how it was calculated.
The exact number is far less important than geting the count right. Down is down.
An impulse is an impulse. The corrective wave 4 values may be a bit more important
as we get closer to revisiting these levels in the future.
Sometimes I look at cable for 20 or 30 years and see that a retracement attempt at a 76.4 for example
was made on a weekly or monthly chart. It wasn't exact, but it was within a couple hundred pips or so.
When it's a rather long term chart, I would assume a couple hundred pips is considered quite close.
Do you think so ?Ignored
