Disliked{quote} That's what I used to on a one hour chart and would get some good set ups. When and where to enter and exit. Like you said, those lines are good forever.Ignored
DislikedOr when you connect two bottoms and put the time line of the high in-between there. And where it intersects at is my next area of interest for support. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Please don't forget that these lines are for reference purposes. Pa may or may not respect these lines. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. That's why I also have horizontal lines, if both indicate "Yes, this is the time" more probable. Some people also combine these lines with few other tools and try to get maximum assurance. But this game is all about timing and money management, rest (including fundamentals) is not that reliable.Ignored
Disliked{quote} What time frame is that? It seems too big a time frame for trend lines. Technical work better on smaller time frames daily, 4H and 1H. Post some 4H or 1H chart, I will try to put some lines as an example. It is most likely that angle would be around 45degree.Ignored
Disliked{quote} The funny thing about the fundamentals is that whenever I see something on my chart, then I'm like wondering, "how is price going to go from here all the way up to there?" based off some trend lines. Then sure enough, some fundamental news gets released, and price goes where projected. That's why whenever I get one of those, "no way, price can't do that right now", or a "hmmm....." the first thing I do is check the calendar. And sure enough, there's something on that particular date thats getting released.Ignored

Dislikedis it just me or does anyone else think its weird where the price closed 1.21001 ? clearly the market makers wanted it to close at a new low, but specifically at that price. Its like they are laughin at all the retail traders because they could close the price at exactly the price they wanted. Im thinking the ECB, draghi is loving this hoping to increase exports. Race to the bottomIgnored
DislikedEuro has bounced around these levels 5 times in the last 10 years. I can't see any reason why it won't continue down but you can't ignore that statistic. Really if you haven't reaped the benefits of shorts from this market possibly missed the boat. {image}Ignored
