Disliked{quote} Not really... Applying an EA isn't much different than applying an indicator. It's more so, just finding something that suits you...or...having code written that does what you want it to do. Again, I'd use Davits trade system as an example...because he is waiting on the longer tfs, it really isn't much to find something that you can work into the daily that will take a position to a few positions and wait out the market whips. Just using his RSI settings maybe mashing in the Bollinger Bands and a simple trigger on grid would probably present...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hey Magix, you're probably aware of these particularities of the RSI(14) levels.. But here they are.. RSI oscillating between: 25-30 and 60-65 --> bear 40-45 and 70-75 --> bull 40-45 and 60-65 --> consolidation/trend change alert.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Attila After playing with different settings on RSI I settled on RSI 8 on daily chart giving most tradable signal to me. I never liked 14 RegardsIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hi Attila After playing with different settings on RSI I settled on RSI 8 on daily chart giving most tradable signal to me. I never liked 14 If I had to choose 1 indicator out of all I'll take Bollinger Bands. Most under the radar indicator...combine with RSI 8 gives very good signals. Most traders don't understand role of indicators.Indicators only give high probability set ups but its never cold take every signal. One has to filter out use discretion. As everyone knows RSI can remain above 70 for prolonged period of time or BB can continuously...Ignored
Disliked{quote} The reason you like RSI(8) is because the fx market moves in series of 7.Ignored

Disliked{quote} I have used the RSI in a couple of triggering systems but typically prefer the derivative oscillator for applied RSI. Meh... Because of the TFs that I trade with, it is easier to view the histogram than is to work with the wavy line of the RSI. Even in coding EAs, I have had better success with the DO than with the RSI. I was only using his trade set up as an example of what can be done and applied to the larger TFs for a Swing Style EA for range.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Hi Magix Do you trade longer TF like daily or just m1 I thought you may have 2 accounts 1 for scalping 1 for swing regardsIgnored
Disliked{quote} With just a quick chart review of the RSI 8 and Default Bollies... If I was to recreate this, I would say: If RSI8>70 &&IHigh<UpperBB ->sell. If RSI8<30&&ILow>Lower BB ->buy.... There'd be a little more to it...but that'd seemingly be the fit. Overbought on RSI but cannot break above the bollies. Oversold on RSI but cannot break below the bollies... Maybe for shitz n gigglez, I can giver a whirl...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I do take longer term trades, but typically keep to the M1s. As far as a Dedicated Account, I have one for EAs alone, others for active manual/mixed trading.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I use 2 BB bands 2nd and 3rd deviations price must be inside 2nd and 3rd rsi 70 or 30Ignored
Disliked{quote} I have 2 accounts and may use 1 for shorter TF Sometimes things gets boring waiting...like whole week on EU BB RSI system I use best suitable in range trading.Unlike lot of traders I love range and avoid strong trending pairs. To me BB works beautifully on pairs that often range like EU GU NU So I curve fit my trading style to fit my system. Most do it other way around...Ignored

Disliked{quote} I think default is 1 which gives poor signals...on daily chart Reason this system can't be used automated because there is still discretion. Not all signals are tradable. M1 on default never tried so I can't say.Looks good. Its interesting that your EA did not sell from 3837 where it spiked up. {image}Ignored
